A lifelong resident of Scarborough, Ontario, Veronica Ferreira has been teaching piano since 1997 at her Scarborough studio.

Qualifications

• Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music.
• ARCT diplomas in both Piano Teaching and Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
• Studied under Royal Conservatory teachers and examiners: piano with Dianne Pendock and Lenore Beatty, theory with Gordon McKinnon, composition with Pierre Gallant, and master classes in performance with Boyanna Toyich.
• Member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association (ORMTA).
• Performed in many recitals and solo piano concerts which have also featured her own piano compositions.
• Accompanied ballet and tap classes at the Coysh School of Dance.
• Church organist since 1998.

Students and Programme

• Teaching ages 5 to adult.
• Beginners to advanced levels.
• Optional preparation for RCM piano and theory exams, as well as ORMTA adjudications and honours recitals.
• Piano Lessons in Scarborough follows the regular school schedule.  Closed on weekends and during school holidays.
• Annual student recital each June for family, friends and the public.  Free and enjoyable for students and audience alike!
• Optional lessons during Summer for interested students.
